Go Mastodons

As an NCAA Division I school, you’ll get to cheer on The Mastodons in 16 different sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, volleyball, track and field, cross country, and softball. We produce some amazing teams with talented athletes — dominant both on the court/field and in the classroom. Plus, you can participate in one of our 12 intramural leagues, join a group fitness class, or enjoy all our recreation facilities have to offer.

Research & Innovation

With more than 227 research courses, we provide ample opportunities for you to get involved in research, scholarly exploration, and discovery. Students and faculty can access funding, training, scholarly activities, and creative endeavors through the office of University Research and Innovation.

Plus, each spring we host the Student Research Symposium, where students across all disciplines present a poster on research or innovative projects, and have the opportunity to win a cash prize!
