    2025 High School Research Internship Program Application

    Thank you for your interest in the high school research internship (HSRI) program at Purdue Fort Wayne. Before completing this application, please make sure you meet the following criteria:

    • Must be a high school junior or senior or 16-17 years old

    • Earned at least a 3.0 high school GPA

    • Have earned all As and Bs in high school classes

    • Have access to reliable transportation to and from Purdue Fort Wayne (We will not provide transportation for you.)

    • If selected as an intern, be able to pay the internship fee (approx. $320, which is the same cost as 1 college credit).

    By completing this application, you understand that research internships are dependent on faculty mentor availability, which means you are not guaranteed to be placed with a faculty mentor or in a project team.

    To be considered for a research internship in the academic year 2025-26, we need to receive your complete application by August 1, 2025.
